A beautifully harmonious Clare Valley Riesling – fresh and clean and ever so slightly off dry.
Tasting notes
Pale lemon yellow in colour. On the nose, enticing lemon/lime aromatics. A lovely citrus character on the palate, which combines tangy, lime-juice freshness with green-apple crunchiness. Fresh and intense, with just a hint of sweetness and a long chalky, minerally finish.
Food pairing
Perfect with lightly spicy foods and Asian cuisine.
Additional information
The grapes were gently pressed with only the free-run juice used. The juice was left to settle until the desired level of clarity was reached, before it was racked off and inoculated with neutral yeast. Fermentation was carried out at low temperatures in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the pristine varietal characters. The wine was bottled without fining.
