Located on the historic Silverado Trail in Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District, Black Stallion Estate Winery pays homage to the rich history of the 32-acre estate which was once home to the Silverado Equestrian Centre. The property was purchased in 2010 by the Indelicato family, a fourth-generation family-owned company founded in 1924. Sourcing from the most prestigious vineyards, the winery is committed to making only the most expressive wines.
TASTING NOTES
By selecting small lots from premiere vineyards, ageing in the best barrels, and meticulous blending creates a deeply concentrated and exceedingly elegant wine. The 2010 Bucephalus showcases aromas of blackberry, cassis, cedar, and spice with subtle hints of lavender. The aroma components integrate beautifully with the rich, ripe, fruit flavours and subtle nuances of cocoa, spice and coffee. This bold, full-bodied wine is balanced by a long finish and ripe, powerful tannins.
