Why we love it
A rare wine offering an elegant, aromatic bouquet, a refined palate and a lingering finish, from one of the most recognisable winemakers in the Southern Rhône.
Tasting notes
Pale gold in colour. On the nose, notes of white flowers and acacia mix with fresher notes of citrus and fennel. On the palate, the wine opens with floral notes, well balanced by good structure and roundness, before revealing a beautiful freshness and a lot of aromatic persistence with notes of acacia, stone fruit and citrus fruit.
Food pairing
A good partner for white meats and dishes with cream sauces.
Additional information
After pressing, the must was refrigerated and cold settled. Fermentation took place in 600-litre oak barrels. Regular bâtonnage was carried out to add roundness and structure to the finished wine. Following a period of several months’ ageing in barrel, the wine was lightly fined before bottling.
The blend is 50% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette and 20% Roussanne.
