Why we love it
A rich, complex Burgundy from Meursault vines, offering excellent value for money.
Tasting notes
Pale gold in colour. On the nose, aromas of citrus and stone fruits, and notes of almond and toasted brioche. Generous and rounded on the palate, with ripe-fruit flavours, notes of toasty oak and good balancing acidity.
Food pairing
Perfect with roast chicken or firmer fish dishes.
Additional information
The estate has been in the family for generations. In 1974, Christian Bellang took over the estate from his parents, whose vines were mainly in Meursault, as well as taking on some of his father-in-law’s vines in Savigny-lès-Beaune. He was joined by his son Christophe in 1995 and together they expanded the farm to include plots in Meursault, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune and Beaune. The estate now consists of nine hectares and is managed by Christophe.
The wine was vinified in oak barrels.
