Description
The “Domaine du Landreau” is the work of the Morin family, winemakers for four generations.
Located in the heart of the Layon hills, the vineyard extends over 3 renowned wine-producing communes south of Angers: Saint Lambert-du-Lattay, Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné and Rochefort-sur-Loire. From delicate Coteaux-du-Layon to robust Anjou villages, its wines reflect a wealth of soil types, climates, and wine-making skills. By adapting current vinification to respect for the product and traditions, the Domaine du Landreau reconciles the typicality and regularity of its products with some of the alternative varieties which thrive in this surprisingly cool to warm climate.
TASTING NOTES
This elegant white cremant has notes of lemon balm, hazelnut and almond in a soft, silky body.
FOOD PAIRING
On its own as an aperitif or with scallops, butter and garlic – delicious!
