Description

Roussette de Savoie is almost unknown in the UK. This AOC is only for dry white wines made from the Altesse grape, also know as Roussette. Frangy is named after the village in which it is made, and is made from 50-year-old vines with an addition of Chardonnay and Mondeuse Blanc. Domaine Lupin is a 5-hectares vineyard, solely focusing on this Cru Frangy using organic principles.

TASTING NOTES
Mountain freshness on the nose, mineral grip, vibrant acidity, spicy gingerbread, green apples, creamy texture, yeasty flavours from the lees. Off-dry in style.

FOOD PAIRING
Crayfish salads, veal escalope, perch or your local fondue.
