GRAPE EXPECTATIONS- Tuesday 23rd July

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Syrah and Shiraz ?

Do you avoid Chardonnay because you’ve been put off by heavily-oaked Australian versions ?

Our July Tasting Event is designed to explore how the geography, climate and winemaking processes can completely alter the characteristics of a specific grape varietal.

After an introductory flute of Sparkling Malbec Rosé, we will be comparing a Chardonnay from Piedmont with one from Burgundy, followed by a Rhone Syrah and a Barossa Shiraz.

The full line-up is as follows:-

TAPIZ SPARKLING MALBEC ROSE NV

LANGHE CHARDONNAY BUSSIA ‘LA BIOCA’ 2020

JULIENAS CHAINTRE POUILLY-FUISSE 1ER CRU ‘LES CHEVRIERES’  2020

DOMAINE LES ALEXANDRINS CROZES HERMITAGE 2018

DUVAL ENTITY BAROSSA SHIRAZ 2021

If you decide to buy a bottle (or more!) of any of the wines you try, there’ll be a 10% discount on the night. If you don’t want to carry your wine home on the night, free delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of Corkage for purchases of £50 or more.

Please note, because we are a small venue, you may be sitting at a shared table with guests who are not part of your group.
