The company Benito Ferrara has ancient roots, dating back to the dawn of the last century. Today it covers 8 hectares. All areas planted with vines fall in the municipality of Tufo, the hamlet of San Paolo, in the traditional production area for the cultivation of the vine Greek di Tufo, and in the municipality of Montemiletto for the production of the Aglianico grape. The soils are ideally located between 450 and 600 m above sea level, with a southern exposure, a hilly and a medium texture. Gabriella Ferrara manages this small estate, that has been in her family for many generations, together with her husband Sergio. The major part of the vineyards (8 hectares) stands in the district of San Paolo within the commune of Tufo, which is considered the best zone for the Greco grape variety.

A delicate straw-yellow in colour, dry taste, pleasantly harmonious. On the nose, scents of tropical fruit and citrus with hints of apple. On the palate, medium-bodied yet soft with a minerally acidity and smooth texture with the unmistakable scent of bitter almond.

Try with a Neapolitan pizza fritta, pan-fried calamari with lemon and pangrattato or grilled swordfish steak with a garlic, mint and oregano salsa.
