Why we love it
A noble wine from one of New Zealand’s pioneers of Pinot Gris, with the skin contact giving the superb flavours and unexpectedly pink colour.
Tasting notes
Coppery pink in colour. Opulent aromas of apricot and melon on the nose. Mouth-filling ripe fruit on the palate, balanced by an element of crispness. A beautiful, long, honeyed finish for a dry Pinot Gris with no residual sugar.
Food pairing
A great food wine – very versatile. Excellent with roasted vegetables, including sweeter flavours like butternut squash and beetroot.
