Tasting notes
Ruby red in colour. On the nose, lovely notes of blackberry liqueur and vanilla. Full bodied with lots of black-fruit flavours on the palate and notes of spice.
Food pairing
A great match for rich, meaty dishes such as beef stew or oxtail soup.

The name “Il Folle” means “the mad one” – a wild, gregarious joker.
Nero d’Avola is a native Sicilian grape – making wines that are full bodied and fruity with high tannins.
