Why we love it
A modern, single-variety take on this rare and ancient Puglian grape – named after the word for “little donkey” in the local dialect.
Tasting notes
Deep, inky purple-black in colour. Intense aromas of blackberry and chocolate are supported by notes of blueberry, violet, cassis and Mediterranean herbs. Full bodied with powerful but fine tannins and great texture. A fantastic freshness carries through into the seamless finish.
