Description
A family estate for several generations (the Meursault estate’s family tree goes back to 1789). In 1974 Christian took over his parents’ estate, with vines mainly in Meursault, and some of his father-in-law’s vines in Savigny lès Beaune. His son, Christophe, joined him in 1995. Together they expanded the estate with plots in Meursault, Savigny lès Beaune, Chorey lès Beaune and Beaune. Today Christophe manages the estate, now totaling 9 hectares. The vines are some 30 years old on average. Vilified in oak barrels for 10-18 months.
TASTING NOTES
Full of classic creamy fruit with a great citrus backbone, this is fruit-forward and easy going. Some hints of hazelnut on the palate and can be drunk now or will develop with age.
