North American Discoveries Wine Tasting – 21st & 28th January

After the Christmas Festivities we’d like to entice you to break your ‘Dry January’ pledge and join us in a celebration of the wines of North America – 3 from USA and 2 from Canada. We’ve chosen to focus on 2 specific regions (Russian River Valley and the Niagara Escarpment) to compare and contrast the distinct styles of wines produced from these very different terroirs. After a welcome refreshing flute of fizz, we will serve you 2 Chardonnays, 2 Pinot Noirs and a Fortified Wine to finish, accompanied by the usual cheese and charcuterie nibbles (vegetarian option available upon request).  The proposed line-up is as follows:-

De Loach Russian River Valley Chardonnay   – Sonoma, California, USA

Bachelder ‘Les Villages’ Chardonnay – Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Canada

Clos Jourdanne ‘Le Grand Clos’ Pinot Noir  – Bench, Niagara Escarpment, Canada

Emeritus Russian River Valley Pinot Noir – Sonoma, California, USA

Quady Starboard Batch 88 Port Wine – California, USA

If you decide to buy a bottle (or more!) of any of the wines you try, there’ll be a 10% discount on the night. Free delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of Corkage for purchases of £50 or more.

Please note, that because we are a small venue, you may be sitting at a shared table with guests who are not part of your group.
