Description

The historical Torri cellar, born in 1966 in the beautiful and fertile Teramo hills. Halfway between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso, on the left bank of the river Vibrata, around the little town of Torano, Torri Cantine grows its grapes in the best oenological tradition of Abruzzo. The Torri vineyards stretch for
60 acres in the towns of Colonnella, Controguerra and Torano, from 100 to 300 metres above sea level. Manual selection of grapes lately harvested between October, the 05th and the 15th, in a 30 in old vineyards in Controguerra with optimal exposure and low yield. The terroir gives the grapes the best thermal excursions that, together with organic techniques of cultivation, enhances the typical flavours of Passerina grapes. The wine is made exclusively in stainless steel tanks thermo-conditioned and it takes the skin maceration at low temperature
