Why we love it
Summer evenings by the sea in a glass! A Cretan take on the popular Greek white grape variety – a more rounded version of the Santorini original.
Tasting notes
Pale yellow in colour. Fresh citrus and floral aromas on the nose, along with Cretan herbs, including thyme and oregano. Fresh on the palate with high, crisp acidity. Three months on the lees gives the texture an element of depth and complexity, and the finish is long with mineral notes.
Food pairing
Drink with oysters or other shellfish, smoked cheese, oily fish or a classic tomato and feta salad.
