Pinchinat Rosé

Description

Domaine Pinchinat is situated at the foot of the famous “Sainte Victoire” mountain 25km east of Aix-en-Provence. The cooling influence of the altitude here gives us one of the most refreshing and elegant wines imaginable for a rosé.

Domaine Pinchinat has produced wine from organically grown grapes over the last 25 years and played a vital role in this movement during the 1990s in order to respect the grapes and the finished wine.

TASTING NOTES

This is predominantly Grenache so full of soft, juicy strawberry/peach fruit with some Syrah and Cinsault for acidity, freshness and a touch of white pepper.

FOOD PAIRING

Try with tuna salad, shrimps in a Catalan sauce or grilled mackerel stuffed with onion, thyme and breadcrumbs.
