The Cayx Palace is a residence of the Danish Royal Family located in the wine district of Cahors in southern France. In medieval times the castle formed part of the defences of the town of Luzech due to its dominance of the Lot River. Chateau De Cayx is a 7-hectare estate owned by the Prince Of Denmark. This wine is denoted Appellation d’Origine Protégée (AOP) – This wine comes from a 7 hectares of vines with an average vine age of 35 years old grown on a south-facing hillside in coy-limestone soils.
