We are delighted to offer you an exclusive opportunity to meet Joao Roquette A Ribeiro of Portuguese winemaker Quinta Do Vallado and taste a specially curated selection of their wines. Established in 1716, Quinta Do Vallado is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley. It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains to this day in the hands of her descendants.

Joao has kindly offered to spend a couple of hours with us on the 9th April to provide a personal insight into the daily winemaking activities of Quinta Do Vallado and introduce 5 of their premium wines for you to taste. We’re offering a limited number of places for this Event (Maximum 18 in total)

The proposed Quinta Do Vallado line-up is as follows:-

Porto Branco NV – An intense White Port made from Moscatel Galego

Prima Branco 2024  – A Dry Floral White made from Moscatel Galego Branco

Douro Superior Tinto 2022 – A Red Blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão

Touriga Nacional Tinto 2022 – A rich, full-bodied Red made from 100% Touriga Nacional

20-Year Old Tawny Port – An unctious tawny port made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão

If you decide to buy a bottle (or more!) of any of the wines you try, there’ll be a 10% discount on the night.

Please note, that because we are a small venue, you may be sitting at a shared table with guests who are not part of your group.
