A lovely aromatic blend of two classic Italian grape varieties – a fabulous food wine.
Tasting notes
Lemon yellow in colour. Zesty with apple and pear aromas and flavours on the nose and rounded palate. A slightly waxy mouthfeel from the Fiano, cut through by driving acidity.
Food pairing
It’s great on its own but really comes to life with food – perfect with fish or shellfish in particular.
Additional information
The grapes were destemmed and left on the skins for several hours before being pressed and fermented in a mixture of concrete, oak and ceramic vessels. After fermentation, the wine was left on the lees for six months before being racked and blended.
