Description
The brothers Andrés and Ramón Serrano Arriezu belong to a family with a long tradition in the cultivation of the vine. The wisdom inherited from their ancestors added to the winemaking training obtained during the last decades are the cornerstone of the family’s wines. Andrés focuses on the continuous care of the vineyard as the origin of all good wine. For this he opted, from the beginning of this adventure a few decades ago, for biodynamic agriculture as a means to obtain a good end such as quality wines. This has led to the fact that currently all the production of both the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin and the Navarra Denomination of Origin is certified for biodynamic agriculture with the Demeter seal.
TASTING NOTES
Old school Rioja at its very best. Mature red fruit, oaky, smoky, spicy taste with touches of vanilla.
FOOD PAIRING
A perfect wine to accompany any rich dishes, particularly red meats, stews or game.
