Why we love it
An oak-aged, smooth, vibrant style of white Burgundy, with good complexity, from the limestone terroir of Rully.
Tasting notes
Pale gold in colour. On the nose, an open bouquet with aromas of orchard fruits and toasty, buttery notes. Rounded, vibrant and rich on the palate with flavours of cooked apple, citrus, honey and toasted bread, supported by fresh acidity.
Food pairing
A great match for chicken and turkey.
Additional information
Domaine Belleville came into being at the beginning of the 20th century in the land surrounding the village of Rully. It owns 22 hectares of vineyards, which have been tended using organic production methods since 2017, including 10.5 hectares in Rully.
The wine was aged in oak (25% new) for 12 months.
