“Simple” Pet Nat Rosé

Why we love it
A delightfully colourful and fresh softly sparkling rosé made with minimal intervention using the pétillant-naturel method.

Tasting notes
Rose pink in colour. An inviting nose of red-fruit aromas including strawberry and cherry. Exuberant red fruit on the palate, highlighted by a creamy mousse. Fresh and flavoursome with an intense mid-palate and moreish finish.

Food pairing
Pairs well with salads, seafood, sushi and desserts.

Additional information
Part of the larger Canelones region, the small but highly desirable sub-region of Las Violetas sits inland, just south of the town of Canelones itself. Its topography is slightly higher and breezier than that of the rest of Canelones, with a predominance of volcanic and limestone-rich soils. This combination produces concentrated, structured wines.

Proyecto Nakkal produces wines with minimum intervention, respecting the fruit, nature and the environment.

The grapes were macerated for two hours and then fermented, without any additions, for 22 days. The wine was racked and bottled at the very end of fermentation so that it completed the process in the bottle.

The bottle has a crown cap closure.
