Description

Las Mercedes is the personal wine project of brothers Julio and Juan and sister Maria. The name comes from the land grants (Mercedes) that were given by the Spanish Crown upon hardworking entrepreneurs who planted the first vines in Chile’s famous Maule Valley. The Bouchon family has been producing wines for more than a hundred years now, and they received great recognition. Pais is South America’s oldest grape variety, long forgotten and just recently re-discovered.

TASTING NOTES
On the nose, floral aromas, red fruits. On the palate, hibiscus flowers, raspberries, strawberries. The finish is long and resembles an old Burgundy wine type.
