South Africa Tasting Event – 22nd & 23rd Oct

It’s a commonly spoken misconception that the best South African wines are retained by their producers and never exported.

For our October Tasting Event we will attempt to dispell that myth and showcase some enticing wines that don’t always have to be 14%+ ABV !

We are offering you the opportunity to book places at either of our October dates – Tuesday 22nd & Wednesday 23rd

The line-up is as follows:-

Lomond Cap Classique Brut – A sparkling Pinot Noir/Chardonnay Blend from the Western Cape

Hasher Fat Lady- A single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Upper Hemmel-En-Aarde Valley

Cape Point “Isliedh”  – A Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon/Sauvignon Gris from Cape Town

Thistle & Weed Nastergal- A Blend of Tempranillo/Alicante Bouschet/Touriga Nacional/Pontac/Souzao/Touriga Franca from the Western Cape

Olifantsberg Soul Of The Mountain “The Bull” – A Syrah/Carignan/Morvedre/Grenache Blend from Breedekloof

Mullineux Straw Wine – A Chenin Blanc Dessert Wine from Swartland

If you decide to buy a bottle (or more!) of any of the wines you try, there’ll be a 10% discount on the night. If you don’t want to carry your wine home on the night, free delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of Corkage for purchases of £50 or more.

Please note, because we are a small venue, you may be sitting at a shared table with guests who are not part of your group
