English Wines Tasting – 23rd June

This Year, English Wine Week is being celebrated between 20th-28th June.

This presents us with the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the variety and quality of our country’s expanding wine industry.

Whilst historically our home-produced sparkling wines have maintained a strong reputation in the global market, in recent times the increased investment in the English Wine sector and ever-improving growing conditions have led to a much wider quality offering of still wines too.

For our June Tasting Event, we intend to offer you the opportunity to sample 2 Flutes of English Sparkling Wine, followed by tasting samples of 2 Whites, a Rosé and a moresish Red Pinot Noir.

The proposed line-up is as follows:-

Rathfinny Blanc De Noirs – A Sparkling White 86% Pinot Noir 14% Pinot Meunier from Alfreston, W. Sussex

Sugrue Bee Tree Sparkling Rosé – A Sparkling Pinot Noir Rosé from Haywards Heath, W. Sussex

Dillions Bacchus 2023- A dry, crisp White Bacchus from Staplefield, W. Sussex

Simpsons Derringstone  – An award-winning White Pinot Meunier from Canterbury, Kent

Chilworth Manor Rosé  – A Still Rosé Blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier from Chilworth, Surrey

Tillingham Precoce  – A Red Pinot Noir from Peasmarsh, E. Sussex

If you decide to buy a bottle (or more!) of any of the wines you try, there’ll be a 10% discount on the night. Free delivery is available within a 10-mile radius of Corkage for purchases of £50 or more.

Please note, that because we are a small venue, you may be sitting at a shared table with guests who are not part of your group.
