Darío Werthein and Fabián Suffern, two friends from Buenos Aires, are the founders of this passionate endeavor. Riglos is the name of a town in La Pampa Province, Argentina and they chose it to honor the place where their ancestors settled when they arrived in Argentina in the early 20th century. Back in 2002, their vision was to grow outstanding grapes on alluvial soils, at a high-altitude, with a broad thermal amplitude and intense sunlight. They found extraordinary parcels in Gualtallary, high Uco Val-ley, at that time a barren landscape without any international investment.
TASTING NOTES
It is the best expression of Cabernet Sauvignon in the stony area on the Las Tunas de Gualtallary river. It is a robust wine, intense ruby red and bright in color. Its aromas are delicate and harmonious, with notes of berries and spices that grow alongside our vineyard, such as thyme and jarilla. In the mouth, it is frank and expressive, with a great, gradual, and persistent finish.
FOOD PAIRING
It is ideal to enjoy with pan-fried duck breast or ribeye steak
