Why we love it
A rich, concentrated blend of Argentinian Malbec and Côt (the French name for Malbec) from imported French vines, which reflects the extreme character of the terroir.
Tasting notes
Deep cherry red in colour with purple reflections. Fresh on the nose with aromas of red berries and a violet floral component. On the palate, flavours of red fruits and flowers and a long finish with coffee notes. Balanced with ripe tannins.
Food pairing
Pair with roasted, stewed or barbecued red meats.
Additional information
The blend combines the density and depth of old Argentinian Malbec vines (30%) with the freshness and elegance of Côt vines from France (70%).
The grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation took place in semi-open concrete vats, followed by a month of post-fermentation maceration in concrete vats.
