Darío Werthein and Fabián Suffern, two friends from Buenos Aires, are the founders of this passionate endeavor. Riglos is the name of a town in La Pampa Province, Argentina and they chose it to honor the place where their ancestors settled when they arrived in Argentina in the early 20th century. Back in 2002, their vision was to grow outstanding grapes on alluvial soils, at a high-altitude, with a broad thermal amplitude and intense sunlight. They found extraordinary parcels in Gualtallary, high Uco Val-ley, at that time a barren landscape without any international investment.
TASTING NOTES
It is deep red mixed with violet and black shades. A wine of great sensory complexity, with spices appearing as a wide palette of black fruits. In the palate it is grey, broad and elegant. Tannins are harmonic and balanced with their natural acidity. Its end is persistent and complex, with great potential to gain intricacy during its cellaring.
FOOD PAIRING
It is ideal to enjoy with pan-fried duck breast or ribeye steak
