Why we love it
A Uruguayan take on one of Italy’s most famous red wine grape varieties. Fresh and fruity, but with good acidity – ideal for summer drinking.
Tasting notes
Bright, ripe raspberry and orange peel on the nose, with underlying notes of dried herbs, flowers and a hint of incense. Mandarin orange, lavender and cracked peppercorns on the palate. Light, with medium acidity and high tannins.
Food pairing
Pairs well with rib-eye steak or creamy, cheesy dishes with a high fat content, such as truffle risotto.
